Northwest AHEC receives The Partner of Excellence Award at ceremony from the Occupational Therapy Department at Winston-Salem State University that was held on  December 2, 2022.

Northwest Area Health Education Center (NW AHEC) has recently partnered with the North Carolina Alliance for Health Professions Diversity (NCAHPD) for funding and hiring of a Statewide Project Manager to foster the program and its mission for North Carolina. Immanuel Bryant has been hired to fill the role of Project Manager for NC Alliance for Health Professions Diversity and will work as a logistical leader providing part-time project management (20 hours/week).
