The Annual NC “One Community in Recovery” Conference is a yearly conference planned by a statewide committee of behavioral health providers and advocates, many of whom have lived experience with recovery from mental health and/or substance use.

JEFFERSON, N.C. ¬¬— Ashe County High School students gained valuable insight into the healthcare field during Ashe Memorial Hospital’s Camp Med Summer Program June 6-10.

Over the last several months, the Northwest AHEC nurse educators have worked on reviewing and submitting files for the North Carolina Nurses Association’s (NCNA) reaccreditation.

Come and learn with us on August 24th 8:45AM-2:30PM Live Webinar. This activity will increase the ability of the nurse to perform a home visit for a new postpartum family, an emphasis will be placed on telehealth and virtual assessments. 

Join us for Meet the Health Professionals Live Webinar Series where students can network with and ask questions of professionals in the healthcare workforce.

The purpose of this activity is to enable the learner to identify strategies that focus the learner to become socialized to the role of the nurse educator.
