This conference is designed to provide diabetes best practices for healthcare professionals. Participants will gain knowledge about specific topics in the field of diabetes management. It is imperative that providers remain educated in all aspects of their patients’ care, from clinical management to behavior and quality of life.

Over the last several months, the Northwest AHEC nurse educators have worked on reviewing and submitting files for the North Carolina Nurses Association’s (NCNA) reaccreditation.

For the second year in a row, the 36th Annual High Country Conference on Respiratory Care was held virtually on February 9-10, 2022. The two-day conference provided attendees with up-to-date, patient-centered and evidence-based practices in respiratory care.
