The Southern Trans Health and Wellness Conference is designed to highlight best practices, innovative research and authentic community partnerships to center the lived experiences of impacted populations and to support the health, racial equity, equality and wellness of transgender, non-binary, intersex and gender-expansive communities.

At all stages of conference planning, members of the transgender, non-binary, intersex and gender-expansive community, health care professionals, educators, advocates and researchers work together with the goal of providing participants with a collaborative environment for supporting health and wellness through a social justice and racial equity lens.
