Apr 1, 2021 9:02:59 PM / by Andrew L. Brewer, MS, NBHWC

Social determinants awareness has become a consistent consideration in healthcare as we've become intentional about recognizing the environmental, social, and other factors leading to suboptimal health outcomes. Housing and the demand for safe and affordable housing is a challenge in many communities.

In this podcast episode I sit down with Allison Jennings, CFRE the Director of Development for Watauga County Habitat for Humanity and we discuss the demand for affordable housing in the northwestern part of our state and how Habitat is helping to bring home ownership to citizens in Watauga County, NC.
