Excitement filled the air on June 8th, 2023, as the AHEC Nurse Educators embarked on a journey to Iredell County for their first in-person visits since the pandemic. This momentous occasion allowed the nurses to connect with valuable partners within the Northwest AHEC region at Iredell Health System and Iredell Health Department, setting the stage for productive collaborations and discussions.
During these visits, the AHEC Nurses were able to share the comprehensive list of new and upcoming activities for the Fall 2023/Spring 2024. Most importantly, the nurses were able to discuss the needs of our partners and what their focuses are for the healthcare professionals in their facilities. These visits sparked dynamic and enthusiastic conversations about potential collaborations on future initiatives aimed at addressing the needs of individuals in our region.
The Nurse Educators are looking forward to traveling to different areas in the region in the future to see how to best meet the needs of healthcare professionals in our communities.
These visits will provide invaluable insights into the specific needs and priorities of healthcare professionals, allowing the AHEC Nurses to tailor their programs and initiatives accordingly. By engaging with healthcare partners in different areas, they will be able to identify and develop targeted strategies to meet the ever-evolving demands of the healthcare industry.
