This educational activity is designed for the ophthalmologist attendee to obtain more expertise diagnosing and treating retinopathy, ocular tumors, and medication-induced corneal disease.

Also discussed will be corneal/anterior segment surgical techniques for high-risk eyes. Nationally renowned experts in these diseases will lecture and participate in question-and-answer sessions with interaction with the audience to maximize learning.
 

Objectives

  • Correctly diagnose and effectively treat sickle cell retinopathy.
  • Establish diagnosis and start targeted treatment in a timely fashion for patients with medication-induced ocular side-effects
  • Correctly diagnose and appropriately refer patients with ocular tumors, and explain to patients the treatment options
