Given the public health emergency, participants in the Quality Payment Program may find it difficult to meet the requirements for the Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) for program year 2021.
Deadline to apply for Exception and Extreme and Uncontrollable Circumstances (EUC) exception for MIPS 12/31/2021.
There are two exception applications available to clinicians, depending on how they participate in the program. Check the details at the Quality Payment Program website.
