NC*Notify V4 and V4+ are scheduled to be released on Tuesday, April 13, 2021. The newest versions of NC*Notify provide subscribers with a host of new features, upgrades, and place of service enhancements. Current NC*Notify subscribers can expect these upgrades to take effect on Tuesday, April 13, 2021.

NC*Notify Version 4 is targeted at organizations that can generate a patient panel, may wish to integrate notification files into their systems, and often have a high volume of patients for whom they would like to receive notifications. Notification transfer methods include Direct Secure Messaging (DSM) and Secure File Transfer Protocol (sFTP) with the added option of near real-time notifications.

NC*Notify Version 4+ is suitable for organizations who want to receive more targeted notifications for a subset of their patients and leverage the NC HealthConnex platform for downstream processing and coordination of follow-up activities. Notification transfer methods include Direct Secure Messaging (DSM) and Secure File Transfer Protocol (sFTP) with the added option of near real-time notifications.

Version 2 of NC*Notify will no longer be supported after Tuesday, May 11, 2021. To prepare for these upcoming changes, each subscriber will need to review and make necessary changes to ingest the new notification result files adhering to the NC*Notify V4 Technical Specifications and NC*Notify V4+ Technical Specifications before Tuesday, May 11, 2021.
