Is your practice interested in getting help from an interprofessional team of graduate level health professions students participating in a leadership group through the North Carolina Medical Society call the Future Clinical Leaders College?

The NC Medical Society and Kanof Institute for Physician Leadership Future Clinician Leaders College in partnership with the North Carolina AHEC Program lead by the Northwest AHEC, is a one-year interprofessional leadership development program for emerging leaders in health care professional training within the state of North Carolina.

Students in the program work in small groups on a leadership project. This year we are pairing the leadership groups with practices in North Carolina to tackle a problem facing the practice. These problems should be things related to engaging with patients in your community, like educating patients on services you provide, providing materials about diseases you treat to at-risk community members, working with local partners to offer services to patients in your community, etc.

This program is a fun and energizing opportunity for these students to learn about your practice, your community, and potentially address a problem facing your practice.
