Practitioners who are equipped to handle the personal and population-based needs of an ever growing, diverse community, are more efficient and prepared to respond to the barriers to care that are amplified due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This symposium focuses on practical applications, discusses how healthcare systems have changed and addresses how those changes met the current and future health needs.

Upon completion of this symposium, participants should be able to:

  • Discuss the challenges facing practitioners.
  • Discuss the successes of health care practitioners.
  • Identify practical skills for improving the health outcomes of patients.
