Northwest AHEC would like to welcome Megan Mills Anderson, who joined our department in October as the Talent Pipeline Management Project Manager.

In her role as the Talent Pipeline Management Project Manager, Megan will collaborate with the NC Health Talent Alliance. This collaboration consists of TPM Managers from South East, Piedmont and South Piedmont AHECs, NC Chamber Foundation and the NC Center on the Workforce for Health. TPM-Healthcare is a new initiative to North Carolina. Its goal is to facilitate public-private partnerships that align workforce supply with employer demand in the healthcare sector.

Megan will aim to ensure a robust and sustainable talent pipeline, address current and future skill gaps, and enhance employee and learner engagement and retention across the entire regional health care landscape. She will work directly with employers, education providers and community partners to align all aspects of the health care talent pipeline around solving data‐driven workforce issues. This is an exciting new endeavor for NC AHEC and the State of North Carolina. We are pleased to be on the forefront of this initiative and look forward to Megan helping to lead the way.
