Save the Dates!

7th Lenoir-Rhyne Symposium on the Future of Healthcare: The Nuts and Bolts of Sustaining Wellness

This year’s symposium will be presented via live webinar over four days in March:
March 3, March 5, March 10, March 12

Each day of the symposium will feature two sessions:
Morning Session 10 - 11 am
Afternoon Session 1 - 2 pm

Within a rapidly changing healthcare environment, practitioners are tasked with treating disease and sustaining health. The COVID-19 pandemic has drastically changed the way we experience health and wellness. Practitioners who are equipped to handle the personal and population-based needs of an ever growing, diverse community, are more efficient and prepared to respond to the barriers to care that are amplified due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This symposium focuses on practical applications and provides attendees with an opportunity to determine how to best address health outcomes within their own healthcare organization.

Upon completion of this symposium, participants should be able to:
  • Discuss the impact of COVID-19 on healthcare delivery.
  • Identify social determinants of health and the effects of COVID-19 on health disparities.
  • List strategies for professional self-care.
