Objectives:
- Describe the different mechanisms designed to help and identify the unique needs of the cardiovascular patient
- Describe the advances in care for the cardiovascular patient
- Recognize treatment options available and the care continuum for adult and pediatric patients
- Describe ways to use evidence-based care and research to provide best patient care
- Demonstrate how to detect early signs of cardiovascular disease
- Identify signs of cardiovascular disease and acute vs chronic conditions
- Identify preventive measures for the cardiovascular patient
- Identify ways research and technology impact best patient care
Credit
- The Wake Forest School of Medicine designates this activity for a maximum of 6.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
- This also provides 6 Nursing Contact Hours. Participants must attend 90% of the activity and complete the online evaluation to receive credit. NO partial credit will be awarded.
