Over the last several months, the Northwest AHEC nurse educators have worked on reviewing and submitting files for the North Carolina Nurses Association’s (NCNA) re-approval.
We are happy to announce that the NCNA Accredited Approver Unit has re-approved Northwest AHEC as an Approved Provider of nursing continuing professional development. The approval has been granted for three years, July 16, 2025 through May 1, 2028.
This showcases that Northwest AHEC has been recognized as an Approved Provider Unit by NCNA for over 28 years.
Thank you to Alana Dodson, Stephanie Poindexter and Ellen Zimmerman for their efforts as well as all staff who support NWAHEC nursing activities.
