“Best preparation for re-entering field as an RN after a 13 year sabbatical. UNC-Chapel Hill is an incredible institution & their professors ALWAYS returned my email questions with 24-48 hours.” - South East AHEC |
“I took the RN Refresher course to feel comfortable and confident returning to work. All of the interactions I had were positive. I am much more comfortable with patient care now, so I have met my goal.” - Northwest AHEC |
Registered Nurses: Return to Nursing or Reactivate Your License
The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Registered Nurse Refresher Course is online and self-paced, helping you continue to balance work, life, and your career. In the past three years, more than 400 nurses across the country have graduated from the program. 75 percent of those who desired a job in nursing started a new position.
