The goal of this conference is to enhance the health care professional's understanding of current management techniques in providing care to the high-risk infant.

Objectives

  • Evaluate selected strategies for care of neonatal abstinence syndrome.
  • Identify recent developments in the genetics arena.
  • Discuss appropriate growth and development milestones for the at-risk infant.
  • Recognize appropriate antibiotic use and its impact on the neonatal microbiome.
