This diabetes conference is designed to provide diabetes best practices for health care professionals. Participants will gain knowledge about specific topics in the field of diabetes management. It is imperative that providers remain educated in all aspects of their patients’ care from clinical management to new advances. This knowledge-based activity is designed to provide physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists, dietitians and other health care professionals with the most current trends and continuum-of-treatment strategies for patients with diabetes.
This activity will be held virtually via WebEx on November 5th, 8:30am-3pm
Conference Objective:
Upon completion of this activity, you should be better able to discuss recent advances in diabetes care approaches including advances in medical devices, transition of care, medication strategies, and value-based care along with outpatient diabetes models.

Dr. Wright serves and has served on several advisory and editorial boards to include Clinical Diabetes, Diabetes Technology and Therapeutics and as a content reviewer for Up To Date. Dr. Wright has served on the Planning Committee of the Clinical Conference of the ADA since 2009. He serves
as the inaugural chair of the ADA Primary Care Interest Group and as a member of the ADA/AHA Know Diabetes by Heart Science Advisory Group. Dr. Wright has published several articles on diabetes diagnosis, treatment and management and has given presentations at national and international meetings on new treatments and technology for diabetes.
